The 2011 HammerHead Invitational Wrestling Tournament will take place at the spacious Kitsap Sun Pavilion in Silverdale. This large venue allows us to provide a first-class wrestling experience for wrestlers, coaches, and fans alike. Listed below are just a few ofthe outstanding features that help to make this tournament special.
One-of-a-kind Facility! Room for 8 mats and over 2000 spectators, the Kitsap Sun Pavilion offers a state-of-the-art audio visual system with two large projection screens for real time match video streaming along with concession and T-shirt sales.
Two-day, 32 man bracket men’s tournament and one-day 8 man bracket
women’s tournament simultaneously in the same venue! Located in the heart of the Puget Sound, with easy transportation access for all areas of the state.
8 Mats used = early finish time! 8 Mats dedicated to men’s tournament day one, with 5 mats for men and 3 mats for women on day two. Finals will feature both men and women’s finals.
Prime-Time Announcer! Mr. Richard Chwaszczewski, one of the primary announcers for the state tournament at the Tacoma Dome, is the tournament announcer.
Free Parking! Kitsap Sun Pavilion parking fees are waived.
Safety First! Certified Athletic Trainers, Aid Crew, and Ambulance on-site during the competition.
